Jason's June 2 Completed Minis
Submitted by Jason on Tue, 06/02/2009 - 05:41I've gotten some painting done over the last couple of weeks, this post will go over the most recent completed minis; these are mostly for Warhammer 40k. My Eldar army is based on the card game/RPG Legend of the Five Rings. As such, the army wears sashimono (back-banners) and the various warrior classes (Aspect Warriors in Eldar-ese) are assigned the colors of one of the L5R clans.
Here's a unit of Fire Dragons. The back-banners are simply paper clips (for the frame) with cunningly applied masking or artists' tape that's been trimmed down to an appropriate size.

NOTE: I do know that the images are being cut off by the site software... that's a limitation of the current template, apparently. I'll see what I can do with it.
More stuff after the break...
Note: Front Page and Forums have Separate Accounts
Submitted by Jason on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 23:04Quick note, folks: the "front" portion of the site (everything that runs around these news posts and stuff) has a different login system from the forums (linked at right). You'll have to create a different account at each place. If you feel like you don't want to over-register, you'd be best served by registering at the forums rather than this site; the only functionality you'd miss is being able to blog or comment, and most discussion will likely go on at the forums anyways.
Guild Rules Thread Up in Forums
Submitted by Jason on Sun, 05/03/2009 - 23:16There is a thread up in the TiSpork Forums talking about proposed guild rules as regards to raiding. The main focus is just on getting the guild's customs into writing so that new members can get up to speed quickly, as well as establishing some sort of system for helping ensure that people that sign up for a raid actually show up for said raid. Please note that you won't be able to actually access the WOW Guild portion of the forums until you register and confirm your forum account.
What I'm Doing With the Site
Submitted by Jason on Thu, 04/30/2009 - 19:24As mentioned in the first post to the site, the purpose of the new TitaniumSpork.org is to serve as a central place for a bunch of my friends and acquaintances to communicate online, as well as acting as a single website for our various hobby-type activities. (More after cut.)
Welcome to the Site!
Submitted by Jason on Wed, 04/29/2009 - 23:32Welcome to the new Titanium Spork (dot org) webpage. The reborn site is going to serve as a central location for all of our various gaming-related groups. Rather than create an individual webpage for our interrelated hobbies and having to keep each of them up to date, we decided to go ahead and use a unified content management system that allows us to keep up a consistent look and organizational structure for the site. This means that whether you're in my D&D game, in our WOW guild, or just here to check out my painted miniatures, it's all part of the overall look and feel of the site.
